The Problem

Travelling to 90 countries taught me something simple and frustrating: finding a clean, suitable place to pray isn’t always easy. I’ve seen brothers and sisters pray on towels, T-shirts or even shopping bags. I used a plastic sheet for a trip around the world. It worked—but it didn’t feel right.

I looked for a travel prayer mat that was light, soft, beautiful—and couldn’t find one that truly matched what I wanted. So I decided to create it. That was two years ago.

Why it matters

Traveling showed me that so many people globally lack the basics. The more I learned about helping others, the more I discovered that water is actually one of humanity's biggest crisis. 2 billion people—the same number as Muslims worldwide—still lack clean water. Dirty water kills half a million children yearly. Women and girls spend 200 million hours daily carrying water.

This is why I didn't just want to make a travel prayer mat, but create something with powerful impact for our Ummah. Clean water means healthier families, more education, new jobs, and thriving communities.

Our first pump in Pakistan now serves around 200 people, in shā’ Allāh for years to come.
